Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
